(March 12, 1:45pm) In response to concerns over the 2019 Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19), we are reaching out today to communicate to you about our remaining performances.
Purchase College and The Performing Arts Center have been closely monitoring the guidelines provided by the CDC and New York State Department of Health (NYSDOH) and have determined that, out of an abundance of caution and respect to the campus community, our patrons, and our artists, all public events planned on campus for the remainder of the spring semester, including all events and performances at The PAC, are cancelled.
All ticketholders will be notified via phone call and email before the end of week regarding options relating to ticket refunds. If you have questions or concerns you can reach The PAC Box Office at 914-251-6200. The box office will remain open through the weekend to assist patrons.
Thank you for supporting The Performing Arts Center and Purchase College. We are committed to protecting the health of our community and we thank you for your understanding.

The explosive Montreal-based RUBBERBAND has a style all its own, creating and producing innovative, high-energy works that are inspired by breakdancing, classical ballet, and dance theatre.
On the program, an evening-length work, Ever So Slightly. In a crisis, in the midst of extreme anxiety, where and how do we find the calm needed to confront the situation?
With 10 irrepressible dancers, a DJ, and a wide-open venue, Ever So Slightly explores the behavioral mechanisms and reflexes we develop to face aggression and the constant flow of annoyances bombarding us every day. The space, the distorted bodies, and the live music result in a production on steroids, a combination of delicacy and finesse with brute, high-voltage movement to capture the energy of urgency, revolt, and flight from danger. Ever So Slightly represents a quest to find a realm of tranquility within chaos, but at what cost?
Fascinated by the raw dynamic of hip-hop and breakdancing and the purity of classical formalism, choreographer and RUBBERBAND Artistic Director Victor Quijada has been demolishing barriers between these contrasting dance styles for more than 15 years. His signature technique blends urban and contemporary dance, with a focus on interpretation, decision-taking, the use of rhythmic variations, and complex, physically demanding choreography.
