Jazz at Lincoln Center Presents New Orleans Songbook

As the birthplace of artists from Jelly Roll Morton and Louis Armstrong to Ellis Marsalis and James Black, New Orleans is the indisputable historic epicenter of jazz.

In this program from Jazz at Lincoln Center PRESENTS, pianist Luther S. Allison takes the stage along with vocalists Quiana Lynell and Milton Suggs, backed by an equally brilliant band, to celebrate the composers and songs of the fabled Crescent City.

The trio will be joined by Brandon Woody (Trumpet), Mariel Bildsten (Trombone), Markus Howell (Saxophone), Liany Mateo (Bass) and Marcus Grant (Drums).
