The Secret Agency
This trip was presented as part of our 2021-2022 season and is not currently available.
Suggested for grades 5-8
The Secret Agency is on a mission: to find intelligence in all its forms. From linguistic intelligence to emotional intelligence, and from fine art to street smarts, the Secret Agency knows the immense value of secret intelligence when it’s brought to light. And at the heart and soul of this mission is the celebration of individuality and imagination.
Tapping into their GRAMMY-winning original catalog from rapper and hip hop artist Secret Agent 23 Skidoo, this electric ensemble combines the highly literate lyrical style of golden age hip hop with the raw emotional power of funk. Joined by amazingly acrobatic bboy dancers, this interactive and empowering experience blurs the line between kids’ music, young adult narratives, and universal storytelling that draws from Jim Henson and George Clinton in equal measure.
