At The Purchase PAC, a myriad of artistic experiences and communities co-mingle to create an atmosphere that is particularly conducive to creating little surprises like these.
Whether your journey has led you here to experience our world-class performances, to discover the best in emerging artists, or to seek creative encounters via our nationally recognized Arts in Education work, there’s a good chance that you’ll experience something that you didn’t anticipate. The possibility of such unexpected pleasures forges the creative spirit that binds our creative community.
We are proud to announce a 2023 -2024 season centered on the creative journey. Perhaps you are a friend of our concert series featuring Chamber Music Society of Lincoln Center — if so, you will be interested to know that we’re piloting a new Inside Chamber Music Lecture Series, to allow you to more deeply engage with the musicians and the music prior to a performance. Are you interested in Latin Jazz? This season, we’re committing to providing performance space for young Latin Jazz performers alongside the likes of Eddie Palmieri and Jazz@Lincoln Center. Our dance series will celebrate the journeys of two Purchase alums — Kyle Abraham and Doug Varone — and we will ring in the holiday season with Greenwich resident and musician extraordinaire Rob Mathes.
Our spaces are crackling with energy and alive with possibility. They are home to an inclusive creative community made up of steadfast supporters and those who are new to our possibilities — children coming to the theater for the first time, aspiring artists learning their craft, those who have just recently discovered their love of the performing arts. Together we make up the thriving artistic hub that is our Performing Arts Center.
