Spring is in the air! It is always such an optimistic time, a season of renewal. This year even more than most we feel that energy and are looking ahead with a sense of optimism and of hope. At The PAC and on the Purchase College campus we are setting our sights on the future and laying out plans for the summer, for the fall, and beyond.
This is what we know so far. This summer, as always, we will turn our attention to internal matters and kick off several critical maintenance projects. We’ll also be buzzing with rental activity and are especially thrilled that the National Youth Orchestra will be back at The PAC in July, with students from all over the country once again able to come together to rehearse and refine their craft in our theatres.
In the fall of 2021, you can expect a greater variety of virtual programming for audiences of all ages, and a continued focus on the incubation and creation of new work. Our theatres and lobby will serve as safe learning and performance spaces for Purchase College School of the Arts Conservatory students throughout the academic year, maintenance projects will continue, and we hope to see a return to limited live programming in early 2022.
Far off on the horizon, we see the curtain rising on an in-person 2022-2023 season, spearheaded by new leadership, the stages lit, the lobby buzzing with activity, and you, our fans and patrons, back in your seats where you belong.
